TL;DR: DataVessel now supports URL inspection and detailed sitemap analysis for Google Search Console. Ask why a page isn’t indexed, check mobile usability issues, verify rich results, and get sitemap breakdowns—all through conversation. Available now at app.datavessel.io.
Two new Google Search Console tools are live in DataVessel: URL inspection and sitemap analysis. These address the most common debugging questions site owners ask—why isn’t this page showing up in search, and is my sitemap working correctly?
URL Inspection: Diagnose Indexing Issues
The URL inspection tool gives you the same data Google uses to index your pages. Instead of navigating Search Console’s interface, ask directly:
- “Why isn’t /blog/new-post indexed?”
- “Check the indexing status for my homepage”
- “Is /products/widget showing any mobile usability issues?”
- “Does /recipes/pasta have valid rich results?”
The tool returns indexing status, crawl details, mobile usability verdicts, and rich result validation. When a page isn’t indexed, you’ll see the specific reason—whether it’s a noindex directive, crawl error, redirect chain, or something else.
Sitemap Analysis: Beyond the Summary
The existing sitemap list tool showed which sitemaps were submitted. The new detailed sitemap tool goes deeper:
- “Show me what’s in my main sitemap”
- “Are there any errors in sitemap.xml?”
- “How many URLs from my blog sitemap are indexed?”
You’ll see content type breakdowns, error counts, warning details, and the last time Google processed the sitemap. Useful for catching issues before they affect rankings.
Available Now
Both tools work with any Google Search Console property connected to DataVessel. If you’ve already linked your site, the new capabilities are ready to use—no additional setup required.
Haven’t connected Search Console yet? Set it up at app.datavessel.io—takes about 30 seconds.
